Meet the Coaches

Roy Dunshee

Roy Dunshee is the President of United Soccer Coaching, LLC and has been active as a Coerver Coach for over fifteen years. He is the Boy’s Head Coach at Severna Park High School and is an instructor of coaches for the NSCAA and the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. He has served as an assistant coach at Northwestern University and holds a USSF A License, the NSCAA Premier Diploma and a National “Y” License from the US Youth Soccer Association. Coach Roy was a scholarship player at the University of South Carolina.

 

 

Richard “Stimmo” Stimpson

Coach Stimmo is the Director of Coaching for U.S.C. and has been a Coerver Coach since 2002. He was a three time All-Ivy League Player at Cornell University where he holds the career assist record. He represented his native England in the World University Games in 1999 and played professionally with the Boston Bulldogs of the USL. He has coached at the high school and college levels and holds an NSCAA Advanced National.

Ryan Parisi

Coach Ryan is the Business Director for United Soccer Coaching and has been involved with Coerver Coaching since first attending a camp as a youth player. He played four years of varsity soccer at Bentley College in Boston and is still an elite player. In addition to directing camps and organizing team training for Coerver, Coach Ryan trains several club teams and serves as the Assistant Coach at Severna Park High School. He holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma and a USSF National “C” License.

Nora Maguire-White

Coach Nora has been affiliated with Coerver camps for many years and brings vast experience to the organization. She has been an Academy Instructor for the NSCAA for thirteen years, instructing coaching courses throughout the U.S. She has coached extensively at the high school, club and collegiate level, including Loyola College (MD), Illinois State University and as an assistant coach at the University of North Carolina with Coach Anson Dorrance. She has also been a Coach with the Maryland O.D.P. during her time at Loyola College, and is a member of the James Madison University Athletic Hall of Fame.

 

 

Tony Mohammed

Tony has coached at the collegiate level for over a decade and currently serves as the Head Coach at Wellesley College. The Toronto, Ontario, native received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College in 1997. As a four-year starter, Tony helped Kenyon win three NCAC conference titles, two Great Lakes Region titles, four NCAA tournament runs, and two NCAA DIII Final Four appearances, finishing third in the 1993 National Championship and second in 1996. In addition to his team’s success, Tony received numerous individual accolades and is currently third in all-time career points at Kenyon. Tony has led Coerver programs in Eastern New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts. He been a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America since 1999 and holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

 

Adam Wrede

Coach Adam brings his considerable energy and enthusiasm to Coerver after a strong career at Goucher College where he was an all-conference player. A product of the fertile soccer fields of New Jersey, Coach Adam is also a school teacher in Baltimore and holds a National “D” License from the US Soccer Federation.

 

 

 

Karen Kotofski

Karen was a standout player at Frostburg State where she received numerous awards both for her on-field performances and her academic excellence. She graduated Frostburg in 2005 with an education degree and currently teaches kindergarten in Anne Arundel County. Karen has served as an Assistant Coach at Severna Park High School since 2007 and holds the NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.

 

 

 

Danielle Malagari

Danielle has been involved with Coerver Coaching for several years. She played professionally in Denmark for Odense Boldklub and for the Washington Freedom after a 4-year collegiate career at University of Maryland. At Our Lady of Good Counsel she led the team to four consecutive WCAC Championships. She was the leading scorer for Good Counsel her final three years and was WCAC Player of the year two times in 1999 and 2000. She holds an NSCAA “Advanced National” Diploma and USSF “D” License. Danielle currently serves as the head coach at the Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac.

 

 

Vinnie Caltabiano

Vinnie is the Assistant Coach at Stevenson College where he was a four year starter, serving as Captain his senior year and leading his team to the title game of the 2009 CAC Men’s Soccer Championship and the semifinals of the ECAC Division III South Region. Coach Vinnie has been affiliated with Coerver Coaching since attending camps as a youth player and is consistently a finalist in our “Coach of the Week” celebrations.

 

 

 

Myles Healy

Myles has been an able Coerver Coach since the early days and is always a fan favorite at our awards ceremonies. Myles played soccer (and a fair bit of rugby) at Catholic University and currently serves as the boy’s Head Coach at St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis. Apart from his duties as a coach, Myles is a die-hard member of Sam’s Army.

 

 

 

Vincent Piscopo

Vinnie has worked as a Coerver Coach since 1998 and prior to that was a Coerver student. He was first team All-State as a high school player in New Jersey and led Loyola University in scoring as a Senior Captain. He is currently the head coach at Overlea High School and holds an NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.

 

 

 

Todd Clark

Coach Todd has worked with Coerver since 2005 and currently serves as the Girls’ Head Coach at Severna Park High School. Todd has also coached numerous club teams and holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma as well as the prestigious USYSA “Y” License.

 

 

 

 

Erica Marshall

Coach Erica is the Assistant Coach at Towson University where she was an outstanding forward and ranks fourth on the all time scoring list. She has played for the Chesapeake Charge of the Women’s Premier Soccer League and as a high school player in Upper St. Clair, PA, was two-time Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Athletic League scoring leader. Her passion for teaching the game and instinct for scoring goals make her an outstanding teacher of the Coerver Method.

 

 

 

JoAnne Jackson

“Jo-Jack” was a standout player at UMBC where she earned All-League honors in 2004 and 2005. In her home state of Oregon she was most valuable defensive player on her high school team. She participated in the Oregon ODP regional camp for three years and the Super Y League national camp and played on the Super Y League Northwest Regional team. She helped lead her high school team to the state championship game in 2003 and her club team, FC Portland, to the state championship in 2005.

 

 


Brian Morgan

Coach Brian Morgan joins the Coaching Staff as the JV Head Coach. A three year starter at High Point High School (PG County), Coach Morgan holds a National Diploma from the NSCAA and has been coaching since 1998. He is currently on staff with Coerver Coaching and still plays competitively whenever possible.

 

 

 

Job Opportunities

USC located in Arnold, MD requires a Soccer Coach to train and teach children in techniques and skills. Run soccer camps, campus programs, plan and lead sessions. Develop training techniques for young children. Masters degree in Arts or rel edu. NSCAA National Diploma reqd. Bachelor + 5 yrs of exp can be substituted for Masters requirement.
